Dr.Nawfal Aljerian is an associate professor and consultant of emergency medicine and emergency medical services. He was recently appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Medical Appointments & Refferals Center in addition to being the General Director of the General Administration of Medical Councils and Health attaches.
He is the Chairman of The Professional Council Of Physicians at The Saudi Commission For Health Specialities in Saudi Arabia.
Dr.Aljerian is a board certified emergency physician. He earned his medical degree (2005) from king Saud university – Riyadh. He completed his residency training in emergency medicine in 2010 and his fellowship in Emergency Medical Services 2011 in University of Toronto, Canada. He also holds a master’s degree in medical education from king Saud bin Abdulaziz University for health specialties. and an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship from Prince Mohammad bin Salman College.
He is a member in various health care committees, locally and internationally, he is heavily involved with the health care transformation and vision 2030. His main career focus is on health care regulation, policy, the regulation of practice and most importantly access to care.
His entrepreneurial interests has got him involved in multiple startups.
