Mariam Alamoudi

Dr. Mariam Alamoudi earned her Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics from Tufts University, Boston, USA, in May 20202. She also received her M.S. degree in Pharmacology from MCPHS University, Boston, USA in December 2014. Additionally, she obtained her PharmD degree from the Faculty of Pharmacy, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, KSA, in July 2010. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at the College of Pharmacy, Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, Al-Kharj, KSA. Dr. Alamoudi is a registered Senior Pharmacist from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. She is also an active researcher. Her research focused on identifying pharmaco-epigenetic targets to modulate the anti-cancer drug response. She presented her research projects at many national and international conferences, including AACR, ASPET, DUPHAT and SIPHA.

Experiences:

I earned my Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics from Tufts University, Boston, USA in May 20202. During my PhD, my project was focused on improving immune checkpoint inhibitor response in triple-negative breast cancer by targeting epigenetic modifications employed by cancer cells. In July 2023, I was assigned as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at College of Pharmacy, Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, Al-Kharj, KSA.
